Burnet Park Golf Course

Owned and operated by the city of Syracuse, Burnet Park Golf Course is a special executive course on the city’s west side.
Built in 1901, Burnet Park Golf Course is one of the oldest courses in New York state. Sitting a top the city’s highest point, this beautiful course features several water hazards, sand traps, and deep fescue. Hole distances range from 85-250 yards, with one par 4 hole to round out the experience. A description of each hole is available online.
The course is most notorious for its “shamrock” bunker, the only one of its kind in America. Golfers looking to challenge their short game will have some fun at this historic and affordable venue.
Memberships, leagues, and tournaments are offered at Burnet Park Golf Course. Carts are available for rent.
