Bandon Preserve at Bandon Dunes is an unforgettable par 3 golf course in Bandon, Oregon.

This unique 13 hole course opened in 2012. Designers Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw start golfers off with a tee shot on a high sand dune. The round proceeds downward toward the beach. Golfers must plan for greenside bunkers, plenty of rough and significant elevation changes.

There are two sets of tees on each hole (front and back). Distances range from 65-150 yards, but no shot is as straightforward as it seems. Wind, slopes and the surrounding landscape require precision in order to shoot par. A helpful aerial yardage guide is available online.

Bandon Preserve is more than just a golf venue. All net profits support the Wild Rivers Coast Alliance (WRCA), an organization that focuses on conservation efforts along the southern Oregon coast. Learn more about their efforts.

The Bandon Dunes Golf Resort is home to a number of other amenities including multiple golf courses, lodging and restaurants. Another par 3 (Shorty’s) is currently under construction on the property.
