River Oaks Golf Course
River Oaks Golf Course is a par 3 golf course in Paso Robles, California.
This unique course was designed by two PGA Professionals (Rudy Duran and Gary Wishon) and opened in July 2004. Golfers can expect rolling terrain, beautiful lakes, and century-old oak trees.
The layout itself only consists of 6 holes, but thanks to 3 sets of tees, golfers can tackle the loop three times for an 18 hole experience. There is one par 4 on the course (so technically this is an executive layout). For planning purposes, here’s how the course is set up:
- The Front 6 (called the Eagle) features distances ranging from 100-300 yards.
- The Middle 6 (called the Albatross) features distances ranging from 90-310 yards.
- The Back 6 (called the Birdie) features distances ranging from 115-315 yards.
Water hazards and greenside bunkers are a factor.
River Oaks is open daily until dusk. Pricing is very reasonable and there is a $100/month unlimited golf pass for those who want to play the course often.
