The Chain at Streamsong Resort
The Chain is a soon-to-open par 3 course in Bowling Green, Florida.
This 19 hole short course is the newest addition to Streamsong Resort, and it is set to open in December of 2023. Golfers can expect sand, water, rolling hills, and established trees. This project is another Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw masterpiece, so it should rank high on any short course bucket list.
There are no tee markers at The Chain. Instead, golfers use their imagination to choose from suggested tee areas marked by large chains (these chains were originally used at the phosphate mine where this course now resides). This setup leads to a more creative round, perfect for different skill levels or match play rounds. Distances can vary widely, but a typical hole will fall in the 50-300 yard range.
Options exist for a 6, 13, or 19 hole loop.
