The Clutch at South Seas
The Clutch is a soon-to-open golf course in Captiva, Florida.
This new short course is located at South Seas, a beautiful resort off the western coast of Florida. Golfers are sure to be delighted by this Beau Welling / Chase Webb designed course. Captiva Island is home to a broad range of wildlife, and the course is aptly named after a turtle’s nest.
The Clutch features views of the water on every hole, along with a challenging and strategic layout. Golfers will have the opportunity to practice their short game or compete with family and friends. Unique, undulating greens are part of the experience.

Worth noting: This course was designed to handle significant rain (20 inches in a compressed time). Part of the layout even includes palm trees that were uprooted by Hurricane Ian in September 2022.
