The Orchard Course at The Olde Farm
The Olde Farm is home to The Orchard Course, a private par 3 in Bristol, Virginia.
Designed by course architect (and The Olde Farm member) Bobby Weed, this members-only venue opened in 2014. Hole distances range from 50-130 yards, but there are no set tees, so golfers have flexibility on how they want each shot to look. In fact, some players even take a cross-country approach, shooting at visible greens that do not play in a traditional hole-by-hole fashion. Creativity is encouraged.
This challenging short course has a rugged layout with bunkers, small greens and elevation changes. The surrounding Appalachian countryside rounds out the experience.
