The Par 3 at Augusta National Golf Club is a famous private par 3 course in Augusta Georgia.

As many readers know, the Augusta National Golf Club is home to the Masters tournament whose winners receive the prestigious green jacket. The participants in this elite tournament are established by invitation only. Each year, right before the Masters, a contest is held on this incredible par 3 course. The atmosphere of this event is lighthearted and players often allow family members or celebrities to caddy. The winner of this contest receives a crystal bowl. More on the par 3 contest here.

This famous par 3 course was renovated in 2022 in preparation for the 2023 Masters. The most significant change was a re-routing of holes 1-5, but yearly viewers will also notice less trees, a new merchant building and turf improvements throughout.

The par 3 course has a par of 27 and measures 1,060 yards. The course record of 20 is shared by Art Wall Jr. (1965) and Gay Brewer (1973). It’s hard to to imagine anyone shooting a better round, but only time will tell.
