Pioneer Pointe Golf Course
Pioneer Pointe Golf Course is a unique par 3 in Verona, Wisconsin.
This 13 hole short course opened in September 2021. Distances range from 100-280 yards, and many of the holes are inspired by famous golf holes elsewhere. The result is a unique public golf course that will keep golfers on their toes.
One of the more distinct features of this new course is “suggested teeing areas.” In other words, this course offers a level of flexibility that traditional courses do not. Golfers can choose to tee off from a variety of locations instead of a designated tee box.
The Match at PGA National, which also opened in September 2021, has taken a similar approach.
Pioneer Pointe’s course layout features rolling hills, wetlands and plenty of bunkers. The course is open to golfers of all skill levels, but even the most experienced players will be challenged.
A state-of-the-art clubhouse is currently under construction and set to open in Spring 2022. The Good Co. restaurant will open around the same time. Other future amenities include:
- Golf simulators
- Activity center
- Pickleball courts
